We are particularly glad to introduce this monograph that is meant to be an integration to the web site and traditional brochures of our company in order to provide further explanations on the prestigious wood used in the production of our barrels, big casks and vats.  In addition to technical data, we examine and explain the reasons for using oak from the most prestigious French forests, supported by different cutting techniques.  The entire manufacturing process is better explained in our brochure or in the specific sections of our web site.

Our main objective is to focus on describing the characteristics of oak origin and how production methods will lead to varying results in the ageing process of your wines.  It is our hope that the technical nature of this resource will contribute to a better knowledge of this subject “for those who want to know more”, and particularly for those who have to make the decision on what is the best for their wines.
